The name on hold

Iris Ἶρις

“rainbow”

On hold: Iris, swift-footed messenger of the gods. When Leto laboured on Delos, the goddesses sent Iris across the sea to Olympus to bring Eileithyia. She went quick as the wind and brought her back to the island, and so Apollo was born.

She crossed sea and sky on a deadline, brought exactly who was needed and got them there in time.

Alternative: Leto (Asteria’s sister, who wandered every land before Delos took her in)
